Due to its Class C accuracy, it is primarily used as an operational measuring instrument in the planning and installation of lighting systems, as well as for their inspection and monitoring, and to ensure compliance with prescribed lighting conditions.
The device covers a wide measurement range from 0.1 lx to 199,900 lx with an accuracy of ±3% ±1 digit. The deviation of the V(λ) adjustment, f1’ < 7.5%, is significantly better than the permissible error limit specified by Class C standards.
During operation, the device allows users to retrieve and display the minimum and maximum measured values as well as the calculated average value at any time. Additionally, the REL measurement functionality enables the measurement of artificial light under daylight or diffuse light conditions.
At GOSSEN, safety through calibration is a top priority. As proof, a factory or DAkkS (ISO 17025) calibration certificate can be issued upon request. Depending on the device’s operating conditions, a calibration interval of 12 to 24 months is recommended.

Classified measurement of illuminance in lx or fc according to Class C as specified in DIN 5032-7, DIN EN 13032-1 Annexes B and C, and CIE 69.
When measuring illuminance, the angle of incidence of the light is taken into account.
High initial sensitivity and resolution of 0.1 lx and 0.01 fc, respectively, up to high illuminance levels of 199,900 lx and 1,9990 fc, respectively.
Optionally, the accredited GOSSEN lighting laboratory can issue a factory or DAkkS calibration certificate for the monitoring of measuring equipment in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
The spectral sensitivity of the silicon photodiode is color-corrected and matches the spectral luminance sensitivity of the human eye, V(λ).
The accuracy is ±3% ±1 digit of the reading.
PEAK & REL functions for determining MIN/MAX/AVG values, as well as for measurements under daylight and diffuse light conditions.
Easy to use, with a clear display and a compact design. A high-quality plastic case with a custom-fit foam insert is available as an option for transport.
